Cowboys Defeat

Mark Cuban recently blogged about the loss of the Cowboys last week, saying he understood the pain that the players and coaches and fans must have felt. But, as a Philadelphian, the cheers that rang across the city in those last few seconds of the game could not have been more joyful and reluctant. T.O., I'm sorry, i just can not stand.

But enough about the game, Cuban went on to talk about the media frenzy that would soon occur. How the media would want to ask silly questions and bother everyone on the team. He also said he wanted to "beat some sense into them".

I'm sorry, but did i miss something? Is it not the media's job to get those responses, to find out what the players and coaches are doing, what they plan to do next year? isn't they're responsibility to find out for the thousands of fans across the country? And also, one who puts themselves in the spotlight, like Cuban, his team, and the Cowboys, can not complain about the fame and attention they get. For one day it will be questions you do not want to answer, for one day out of the whole wonderful season they have had. I think they'll manage.

The message you are sending through your blog is right on. I wrote about the same blog in a very similar fashion. I like the fact that you defended the media also. The questions you pose are questions that needed to be asked and you use your voice great to show how serious you are about the topic at hand. It is the media's job to ask the tough questions. They should not be criticized for doing their job correctly. On another note, Mark Cuban should be use to the criticism and tough questions after being in the spotlight as long as he has. I like how you incorporated a lot of your own opinion into the piece while still relating it to Cuban's blog. Good work.

Kate's did a really excellent job of describing Mark Cuban's response. With a person like Mark Cuban (who can act extremely childish at times) it's difficult to maintain composure when discussing him. Kate maintained her composure and made a very good observation. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen Cuban. It’s an interesting response and well written. I also really like the layout of her blog!!!

Kelsey’s blog is interesting because she provides readers with an interesting new blog. I would have ever found this had Kelsey never put it on her site. Her responses are detailed and numerous. She has some valid quesrions regarding what the blog said. Maybe she could monitor the blog and critic it every now and again

Good start, though I felt you indulged more than you covered.

And did I miss the link to your source material?

I think Cuban's disdain for what he considers ridiculous questions is well-documented. And there are times he raises good points about bad questions.

That having been said, I also think the painful off season will last for more than a single day.

But all of that's beside the point.

Your internal voice came through loud and clear. Your description of Cuban's blog could have used some work and the external application could also use some attention.

Even making fun of Cuban for manhandling the media through a blog would have made your post more applicable.

You probably should consider working in at least one analysis point to ensure your posts become more relevant to an external audience.

This was a good first attempt. Keep at it.
